First Cambridge Capital (FCC) LLC is a real estate investment and development firm based in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 2012, FCC specializes in distinctive projects that are rooted in thoughtful design, cultural context, and long-term community impact. From adaptive reuse to ground-up construction, FCC approaches every development with a disciplined investment lens and a deep commitment to quality.

FCC’s portfolio spans multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use properties across Greater Boston and New England, with an emphasis on sites that hold cultural significance, architectural character, and untapped potential. Whether bringing historic buildings back to life or delivering new housing to neighborhoods, FCC focuses on developing projects that are grounded in each neighborhood’s context and strengthen the communities they serve. FCC’s hands-on approach is guided by close collaboration with community stakeholders, civic partners, and design-first architects.

FCC’s portfolio includes the award-winning Taconic Hotel in Manchester, Vermont, as well as two historic hospitality properties in iconic Boston neighborhoods: 463 Beacon Guest House in Back Bay and Marion Inn in Coolidge Corner, Brookline. FCC’s residential portfolio includes the Residences at 16 Boardman in East Boston and Prospect Place in Brighton Center.

Current projects include a mixed-use development in Harvard Square that will introduce much needed housing and bring the historic home of formerly enslaved abolitionist and author Harriet Jacobs back to life. The project will open Jacobs’s former home to the public to share her story and legacy, integrating it into a new community-facing boutique hotel and reactivating a vital corner of the Square. FCC is also currently developing a new boutique hotel in Boston’s Back Bay, restoring a classic brownstone to welcome visitors an intimate home to experience the neighborhood’s historic charm and architectural beauty up close.
